Every Entity Consolidated Into One Set of Statements, Eliminations Applied
Agents pull each entity's trial balance, whichever ledger it runs on, map it to your consolidated chart of accounts, eliminate the intercompany activity, and hand your controller a consolidated P&L and balance sheet that ties to every entity behind it.
How consolidation runs today.
Five entities, five ledgers, maybe five different charts of accounts. Nothing adds up until someone maps every account by hand.
Intercompany activity gets eliminated in a spreadsheet that one person understands. A new acquisition or a renamed account breaks it quietly.
One entity closes a few days behind the others, every period. The group total is only as current as the slowest entity in it.
Consolidation is the last thing that happens before the board deck, and often the first thing that is late. The group number ships the day of the meeting, if it ships on time at all.
The group number is only as trustworthy as the mapping behind it, and nobody outside one person's head can check that mapping.
From Entity to Group
Consolidate Every Entity Without Another Hiring Cycle
Close the Group, Not Just the Entities
Consolidation runs as each entity closes instead of waiting for the slowest one, so the group number is ready closer to when the entities are.
Improve Accuracy
Intercompany ties to zero or arrives flagged, and a checker agent audits the statements before a reviewer opens them, so senior time goes to judgment instead of arithmetic.
Standardize Method
The same groupings and elimination rules apply to every entity and every period, which takes the method out of one spreadsheet and puts it in the system.
Every Entity's Data That Never Leaves Your Environment
Your financial data does not leave your environment.
Run Adopt in our cloud on an isolated tenant, inside your own VPC, or fully on-prem, so the first question your security team asks has a one-word answer. Agents inherit the permissions of the systems they work in through least-privilege service accounts: they see what your team can see and nothing more.
Certified, and still yours.
SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA. Zero-data-retention agreements with the model providers, no training on your data, and your choice of model, including your own keys. Every run is logged step by step, so your auditors can read what the agent did and not just what it produced. All agents, skills, and decision logic are your intellectual property.

Your controllers define what done looks like, your finance systems or IT lead owns the connections, and a forward-deployed engineer from Adopt builds alongside them, starting from your process docs or a screen recording of how the work is done today. Skills are written in the same open format as Claude skills and move in and out of Adopt freely. The agents are your IP when the engagement ends. If you are already building on Copilot, Power Automate, or a Claude key, that is a reason to talk rather than a reason to decline. What you have built comes with you. What we add is the finance-specific skills, the connectors to systems without APIs, and the checker layer you would otherwise write and maintain yourselves. A prior RPA vendor sold you automation the vendor owned. We build capability you own, in open standards, so you are never one acquisition away from starting over.

FAQs
Whatever you already run. Agents read and write NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, and Dynamics 365 directly, connect to the banks and cards an aggregator covers, and where a system has no API, including many bank, vendor, and payroll portals, they operate the interface the way a person does. There is no data warehouse to build first and no new system of record.

Yes, for a single reporting standard with mapped charts of accounts, which is where most of the volume is. Each entity's trial balance is mapped to your consolidated groupings and intercompany is eliminated per your rules. What we do not market: multi-currency conversion, IFRS translation, and joint-venture or equity-method consolidation, which stay with your team today.
The mapping is set once with your team and applied the same way every period, by a system rather than whoever happens to own the spreadsheet that quarter. When an account gets renamed or an entity is added, you update the mapping once, not in five places.
It gets reported as a figure with its cause attached, not forced to zero and not buried in a plug account. Your team decides how to resolve it, and the resolution is recorded for the next period.
No. The acquired entity's ledger is read directly, including a legacy system with no API, and mapped into the same groupings as everyone else. It does not need to migrate onto your system before it can be consolidated.
The honest test is a back-test. Run the quarter you just consolidated through the agents, in your environment, and compare it line by line to what you issued. Where it is weakest: an entity with a chart of accounts never mapped before, intercompany activity with no reference, and anything crossing currencies, which stays out of scope today. Those arrive as exceptions, not wrong answers.
You could, and the easy half probably already is. What you would be writing and maintaining yourselves is the finance-specific skills, the connectors to systems without APIs, the checker layer, and a review workflow that more than one person can work in, then rebuilding them each time an interface changes. If you leave, you already own it: all agents, skills, and decision logic are your IP, in the same open format as Claude skills, on any model and any infrastructure. If you have an internal effort underway, we co-build with your team.
